Product Description:

The ZCode-LR RFID is a tamper-proof, contactless safety switch that uses both magnetic and RFID technology to provide maximum security in machine and plant engineering. This dual-channel and diverse principle effectively prevents tampering and ensures maximum reliability. The switch can be configured as a Unicode version (activated only by a specifically assigned actuator) or as a Mastercode version (an actuator from the PR or LR series activates any switch in the ZCode-PR and ZCode-LR series).

The ZCode-LR allows the series connection of up to 20 modules to ZANDER safety relays or ZANDER safety controllers without reducing the safety level. This significantly reduces installation effort and simplifies wiring. A clearly visible LED indicator displays the switching status of the safety switch, allowing for quick and easy system monitoring.

The housing of the ZCode-LR is made of red PES (polyester) and complies with the protection classes IP67 and IP69K, making it dustproof and waterproof, even during high-pressure cleaning. The compact dimensions (88 x 25 x 13 mm) and light weight (200 g) allow for easy installation, even in confined spaces. Typical applications include protective doors, sliding safety grids, and protective covers in safety-critical machine and plant environments.

The ZCode-LR features 2 contactless safety outputs and 1 signaling output. Power is supplied via 24 V DC (+/- 15%) with a maximum power consumption of 50 mA. With a maximum switching capacity of 200 mA at 24 V DC, the ZCode-LR provides a robust and reliable solution for safety-critical applications in machinery and plant environments.
