Product Description:
The ZANDER thimble is an essential component for securely attaching the pull rope to the tension spring. It provides a reliable and stable connection that is critical for the operation of cable-pull safety switches. The thimble is used with two rope clamps to securely fasten the rope, ensuring consistent cable tension, which is particularly important for safety-critical applications.
The thimble is made from high-quality galvanized steel or stainless steel. While the galvanized version is suitable for general applications, the stainless steel option provides extra protection against corrosion, making it ideal for use in damp or hygienically sensitive environments. With a compact total length of 42 mm, the thimble can be easily integrated into existing installations.
A key feature is that the thimble is not required when using the ZANDER ZTK / ZTKE cable tensioning system, as the rope is directly fixed and tensioned via the mounting system in this case.
