The ZANDER thimble is used to securely fasten the pull rope to the tension spring. It is an essential component for cable-pull safety switches when the ZTK / ZTKE cable tensioning system is not used. Thanks to its robust construction from galvanized steel or stainless steel, the thimble ensures a durable and reliable connection, even under high stress conditions.
The total length of the thimble is 42 mm, making it easy to integrate into existing installations. It is used with two rope clamps to securely fasten the pull rope. This ensures a secure connection and uniform cable tension, which is crucial for safety-critical applications like cable-pull safety switches.
The stainless steel version offers additional protection against corrosion, making it ideal for use in wet or hygienically sensitive environments. As a result, the thimble is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
