The SR7C safety relay is a versatile device designed to safely shut down moving parts of machines or equipment in hazardous situations. With seven safe, redundant relay outputs, it meets the highest safety standards up to PL e, SIL 3, and Category 4 in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC 61508. Its additional monitoring outputs provide detailed status information, making the SR7C ideal for applications such as emergency stop circuits and guard monitoring.

Functionality:

• Normal operation:
- When the emergency stop circuit (e.g., guard door closed) is closed, the SR7C enables the machine.
- Upon triggering the safety function (e.g., guard door opened), the release circuits are immediately interrupted, safely shutting down the machine.

• Error detection:
- Force-guided relays ensure that a single fault does not compromise the safety function. Errors are detected through cyclical self-monitoring.


Mounting and Installation:

- Suitable for installation in control cabinets with at least IP54 protection according to EN 60204-1

• Mounting:
- Mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail according to EN 60715

• Spacing and cooling:
