The Multi IO Extension 592 for blinds was specially developed for controlling blinds and roller shutters. The double relays are connected to just one output of a KNX Multi IO 570 or 580. The direction of the relay outputs is controlled automatically by the KNX Multi IO by means of a defined voltage interruption of the holding current. The outputs are electro-mechanically locked against each other to prevent motor damage. The Multi IO Extension 592 has an integrated fuse to protect high-quality equipment.
