The KNX IP Multi IO 580 is a universal input and output module for building control. It offers 48 digital channels. Each channel can be used as a binary input or as a binary output. The peripherals (e.g. relays) are powered by an external power supply (24 V¿). Input channels can be used to control e.g. lights or blinds via KNX. They can also be configured as pulse counters - for example for energy meters. Output channels can directly control signal LEDs, external coupling relays (e.g. 590) or blind relays (592). The device works using the KNX IP medium. It appears in the ETS (version 4.2 or higher) as usual with parameters and communication objects. The KNX addressing, based on physical address and group addresses, also remains unchanged. An easy-to-read OLED display on the front allows manual operation to test the installation.
