Safe digital input/output, 4/2 channels, DC 24 V, 10 A, PROFIsafe
The module 750-666/000-004 has 2 power outputs (O1 . O2) and 4 clock-sensitive inputs (I1 . I4). The sensors can be fed directly with 24 V or through the 2 differently clocked outputs (T1 . T2).
Potential-free, contact-based emergency stop buttons, safety door or operating mode selector switches as well as safe sensors or safe semiconductor outputs (e.g. light barriers, PLC outputs) can be connected to the inputs. The power outputs switch resistive and inductive loads in accordance with DC 13.
The power output O1 can be operated in high-side circuitry, while the power output O2 can be used in high-side or low-side circuitry. Both power outputs are single-channel and can be combined to form a two-channel output.
Short circuits, cross circuits and 24V external power supply are monitored. Monitoring and other safety-relevant parameters such as operating modes or switching off the test pulses, discrepancy times or filter times can be parameterized via WAGO-I/O-CHECK.
The parameterization tool can be easily integrated into engineering systems that support the TCI (Tool Calling Interface) with CC2 or CC3.
Depending on the setting, the parameters are automatically downloaded to the controller via a PROFIsafe-compliant iPar server when the module is replaced. The PROFIsafe address is set on the coding switch on the side or alternatively via WAGO-I/O-CHECK.
The module supports the PROFIsafe protocols V2.4 (PROFIBUS, PROFINET) and V2.6 (PROFINET).
The field and system levels are galvanically isolated from one another.
The arrangement of the individual safe modules is arbitrary when planning the fieldbus node.
If necessary (e.g. cable length of the 24V supply greater than 3 m), the filter module 750-626 or a suitable external filter must be used for the 24V supply to protect against surge and burst (according to IEC 61000-6-7 and the shipping sector).

The module 750-666/000-004 has been evaluated by UL in accordance with the standards UL/CSA 61010-1, UL/CSA 61010-2-201 and UL 121201, CSA-C22.2 No. 213.
