Safe digital input, 4 channels, DC 24 V, PROFIsafe
Potential-free, contact-based emergency stop buttons, safety door switches, operating mode selector switches, safe sensors and safe semiconductor outputs can be connected to the PROFIsafe module 75x-661/000-004.
The module has 4 clock-sensitive inputs (I1 . I4) that are supplied by 2 differently clocked outputs (T1 . T2).
The clock outputs are short-circuit-proof. The inputs are continuously monitored for cross-circuits and external power supply. These and other safety-relevant parameters such as operating modes or switching off the test pulses, discrepancy times or filter times can be parameterized via WAGO-I/O-CHECK.
The parameterization tool can be easily integrated into engineering systems that support the TCI (Tool Calling Interface) with CC2 or CC3.
Depending on the setting, the parameters are automatically downloaded to the controller via a PROFIsafe-compliant iPar server when the module is replaced. The PROFIsafe address is set using the coding switch on the side or alternatively via WAGO-I/O-CHECK.
The module supports the PROFIsafe protocols V2.4 (PROFIBUS, PROFINET) and V2.6 (PROFINET).
The field and system levels are galvanically isolated from one another.
The arrangement of the individual safe modules is optional when planning the fieldbus node.
If necessary (e.g. cable length of the 24V supply greater than 3 m), a WAGO filter module or a suitable external filter must be used for the 24V supply to protect against surges and bursts (according to IEC 61000-6-7 and the shipping sector).

The module 75x-661/000-004 was evaluated by UL according to the standards UL/CSA 61010-1, UL/CSA 61010-2-201 and UL 121201, CSA-C22.2 No. 213.
The evaluation of functional safety according to the mentioned standards was carried out by TÜV Rheinland.
