Overview
FMB240 is a water and dust protected GSM/GNSS/Bluetooth tracker with integrated CAN data processor. It's a compact 2-in-1 solution: GPS tracker and CAN adapter inside! The device allows reading CAN data from a variety of different vehicles, including light and electric vehicles, trucks, buses and special machinery. Two options are available to meet all business needs:
LV-CAN200 option - Standard software version with LV-CAN200 parameters including fuel level, consumption, odometer, CAN speed, pedal position, Supported vehicle types: light vehicles, trucks, buses .
ALL-CAN300 Option* – advanced software version allows reading more parameters than the standard version. Available additional parameters include AdBlue level, engine life and airbag. Supported Vehicle Types: Agriculture, Construction, Forestry, Utility and Special Purpose Equipment, Light Vehicles, Trucks, Buses + Electric Vehicles.
FMB240 is developed on the existing Teltonika platform and therefore retains all the functionalities of FMB140 with an additional IP67 resistance to dust and water.
This tracker is dustproof and protected from the effects of temporary immersion in water. It can be mounted inside and outside a vehicle without fear that high pressure water, mud or dusty environment will affect its operation or performance quality. This is particularly relevant for the industries that experience harsh conditions, such as agriculture, construction and mining, and more.
The FMB240 supports the Bluetooth 4.0 LE protocol, which allows you to connect various external devices and Bluetooth low energy sensors. The new device is a significant improvement for telematics with easier installation and flexibility in choosing the right features without changing hardware.
