The field-assemblable RJ45 plugs of the MPF8 series from Telegärtner can be mounted directly on the installation cable to connect end devices with an RJ45 connection to the network; a connection box and patch cable are not required. The MFP8 series is the optimal solution for shielded Modular Plug Terminated Link (MPTL), End-to-End Links (E2E Links) and Direct Attach Cabling (DAC).
The MFP8 Cat.8.1 from Telegärtner exceeds Category 8.1 according to DIN EN 50173-1 and ISO/IEC 11801 as well as Category 8 according to ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and offers data rates of up to 40 gigabits per second. It can also be used in demanding applications such as data centers, server rooms, telecommunications facilities and hi-fi cabling to use cost-effective RJ45 copper cabling instead of costly fiber optic solutions. The higher data rate enables a longer service life compared to Category 6A (ISO/IEC) components, which makes Category 8.1 cabling with the MFP8 Cat.8.1 a particularly economical alternative.
