Connection modules are designed for the direct, permanent connection of two cables. Typical applications include extending cables when distributors or junction boxes are moved, and repairing damaged cables.
It is much easier, faster and more cost-effective to professionally extend or repair existing cables than to lay and connect new cables, especially if fire barriers have to be opened and closed again. Operational interruptions are also reduced to a minimum.
