TekBox TBWA2/20dB, TBWA2/40dB Broadband Amplifiers
The TekBox TBWA2 series of broadband RF amplifiers are easy to integrate into laboratory setups. With a bandwidth of 2 MHz to 6 GHz, they are ideal for amplifying the signals picked up by our EMC near-field probes. The TBWA2 broadband amplifiers are available with 20 dB or 40 dB gain.
In a package with near-field probes
The TBWA2 series amplifiers are also available in a package with the TekBox TBPS01 EMC near-field probes. The TBPS01 set includes magnetic field (H) and electric field (E) probes for EMC pre-conformity measurements for radiated emissions. They are used to locate and identify potential sources of interference within the components of electronic assemblies. The probes work similarly to broadband antennas and pick up interference emissions from components, conductor tracks, housing openings or gaps and from any other parts that could emit RF. The probes are usually connected to a spectrum analyzer. Other applications include RF immunity tests by feeding an RF signal into the probe and radiating it into potentially vulnerable circuit parts. Another application is the non-invasive measurement of RF components such as modulators or oscillators. In conjunction with a low-noise preamplifier, frequency, phase noise and spectral components can be measured. The TBWA2/20dB and TBWA2/40dB broadband amplifiers are connected between the EMC probe and the spectrum analyzer to increase the dynamic range of the measurements.
