Further information for Tekbox TBFL1
The TBFL1 is a combined transient limiter, attenuator and high-pass filter in one. It is looped into the signal path to optimally protect the input of a spectrum analyzer or measuring receiver. This is especially true for the measurement of conducted interference or other measurements where the input level cannot be predicted or accidental overloading can occur. So-called PIN and Schottky diodes in combination with a multi-stage 10 dB attenuator result in a device that can withstand a continuous RF input level of up to 5 W (37 dBm). A gas discharge tube offers additional protection against high-voltage transients. In addition, the 9 kHz high-pass filter suppresses harmonics resulting from the mains voltage. With a threshold level of +11 dBm and a flat frequency response in the range 9 kHz to 600 MHz, the TBFL1 can be used universally in the entire range of conducted interference and many other applications.
