Device Authentication and Enrollment iShield HSM is a plug-and-play USB security anchor that allows system integrators to upgrade existing AWS IoT Greengrass devices with a hardware security module, making it the perfect retrofit solution for finished hardware designs and devices in the field might. iShield HSM securely stores the device's private key and certificate so that they cannot be disclosed or duplicated in the software. The product is available as a high quality, robust and compact USB memory stick that supports PKCS#11 and PKCS#15 and is compatible with an open source software stack (e.g. OpenSC). A Secure Element (CC EAL6+) is embedded in the hardware of iShield HSM using COB (Chip-On-Board) technology. This makes the hardware security module and can also be used in harsh operating environments.
