But powerful multi-cell solutions are also needed in industry to reliably supply large, free-standing areas with DECT. To achieve this, Snom offers its customers a special version of the M900 base station including a durable housing. Certified according to IP55 - insensitive to dust and splashes of rainwater. The M900 Outdoor has an IP55 classification (International Protection Code). This international standard means that M900 Outdoor is insensitive to dust and especially splash or rain water. This means the M900 base station is safely and reliably protected in all weather conditions. At the same time, the M900 Outdoor also offers enough space to accommodate additional devices, such as a heater (not included). The base station itself, which is built into the housing, was made of particularly durable material. In addition, the electronic components of the base station have been made resistant to extreme temperatures, moisture and foreign bodies with a special coating.
