Further information for Siglent SDG6022X
SIGLENT's SDG6022X is a dual-channel pulse/arbitrary waveform generator with 200 MHz bandwidth, a maximum sampling rate of 2.4 GSa/s and a vertical resolution of 16 bits. It also includes the proprietary TrueArb Continuous Wave A continuous 500 MHz sine wave Pulse Adjustable Pulse Width The pulse width can be adjusted to a minimum of 3.3ns in increments starting at 100ps at all frequencies, Adjustable Edge Rise and Fall -Times can be individually adjusted.
The rise and fall times can be set independently to the minimum of 1 ns at each frequency with a minimum adjustment step of only 100 ps. Low Jitter When a square/pulse waveform is generated by a traditional DDS, additional jitter may occur if the sampling rate is not an exact multiple of the output frequency. EasyPulse technology overcomes this weakness in DDS design and helps produce square/pulse waveforms with low jitter. Arbitrary Signals Traditional DDS designs can introduce additional jitter and distortion when generating arbitrary waveforms. The SIGLENT TrueArb design minimizes jitter and distortion, helping to create any waveform with high fidelity. Point by Point Output
TrueArb generates arbitrary waveforms point by point. It never skips a point, so it can reconstruct all the details of the waveform as defined. Two interpolation modes are available: linear and zero-order hold. Low Jitter
As with EasyPulse, TrueArbeff ectively overcomes the clock jitter that can affect traditional DDS generators. Arbitrary Waveform Software EasyWave
EasyWave is a software platform specifically for arbitrary waveforms that supports the creation and editing of waveforms. It has manual drawing modes as well as line, equation and coordinate editing modes. It also provides users with a convenient way to edit any waveform. Noise Gaussian noise with a bandwidth of up to 500 MHz. The repetition period is more than 100 years and the bandwidth is adjustable. Broadband Gaussian noise can be easily added to other waveforms to simulate real-world scenarios where the signal contains high levels of noise. IQ (optional) The SDG6022X supports common modulation types such as ASK, FSK, PSK and QAM. Proprietary resampling technology provides excellent EVM performance at any symbol rate between 250 Symb/s and 37.5 MSymb/s. The built-in digital quadrature modulator offers the ability to generate IQ signals from baseband to 500 MHz intermediate frequency. IQ waveforms can be generated using the EasyIQ PC software. PRBS PRBS3 - PRBS32 with finely adjustable 10 bps - 300 Mbps bit rate and 1 ns - 1 us edge. Preset common logic levels such as TTL, LVCMOS, LVPECL and LVDS. An additional difference mode offers an easy way to generate difference signals across both channels.
High fidelity output with 80 dB dynamic range Large signals at high frequencies
Two-channel sine wave with 20 Vpp amplitude guaranteed up to 40 MHz. Small signals
Low noise, improves signal-to-noise ratio. Generate complex signals Modulation
Many modulation types such as AM, FM, PM, FSK, ASK, PSK, DSBAM, PWM are supported. The modulation source can be configured as “Internal” or “External”. Sweep and Burst
Sweep modes include Linear and Log. The burst modes include “N-cycle” and “Gated”. Both Sweep and Burst can be triggered from Internal, External or Manual sources. Combining Waveforms
The waveform combining function internally overlays CH1 and CH2 waveforms and provides the combined waveform to a user-selected output. Easily combine basic waveforms, random noise, modulation signals, sweep signals, burst signals, EasyPulse waveforms and TrueArb waveforms Harmonics The harmonics function gives you the ability to add higher order elements to your signal. Dual Channel Function Mode Frequency Counter Phase-Locked mode automatically aligns the phases of each output.
In Independent mode the two channels can be used as two independent generators. Independent mode also smoothes parameter changes (frequency, amplitude) on an active channel. 8-digit hardware frequency counter with statistics function and input range from 0.1 Hz - 400 MHz.
