The integrated bypass enables the very compact design and ensures less heating in the control cabinet. Intelligent monitoring functions protect the soft starter from overheating and the motor from overload. You can also limit the current to an adjustable maximum value during start-up. With the integrated remote reset, you can quickly and easily rectify faults remotely. Worldwide approvals (e.g. IEC and UL/CSA) also for potentially explosive applications (ATEX or IEC Ex).The 3RW soft starters are available for networks up to 690 V in a wide power range with different control supply voltages and consistently with screw and spring-loaded connections. There are additional versions of the 3RW30/40 with 24 V control supply voltage. Some of the 3RW40 up to size S3 and all 3RW44 also offer thermistor motor protection.The soft starters can be attached to the circuit breakers with the optional connection module, even for the versions with spring-loaded connections.
