The ball marker with an extended range of 1.5 m was specially developed for locating flush-mounted facilities that are hidden by embankments. It is attached to the underside of non-metallic flaps or covers above flush-mounted facilities. This self-aligning marker is used to clearly identify facilities. In addition, the iD version enables data to be written/read to/from the marker.
The purple 3MTEMS ball marker - General makes marking and thus later locating underground lines, sleeves and pipes with the marker locators extremely easy. It can be located up to a maximum depth of 1.50 meters, is insensitive to minerals, chemicals and temperature changes and is therefore suitable for any type of soil. The free-floating design in a waterproof PE ball ensures that the marker always aligns itself exactly horizontally, regardless of the installation position. The liquid inside the ball is a mixture of water and propylene glycol, which is biodegradable and harmless to humans, fauna and flora. The electronic markers are considered the most reliable method of marking existing or newly installed facilities - even under snow. Their function is not affected by metal channels or pipes, fences or high-voltage lines.
