Further information for Scotch 91-AV 140 - Flexible auftrommelbare cast resin Verbindungsganitur
The 3M? Scotchcast? cast resin connection set of the 91-AV series for flexible cables and wires can be wound on reels and is used to repair and connect flexible cables and wires in the low-voltage range. It is designed for single-core, non-armored low-voltage plastic cables and ensures their electrical insulation and mechanical protection. The scope of delivery includes the 3M? Scotchcast? cast resin 2131, which is flame-retardant according to MSHA 30 CFR § 7.407. When cured, it remains permanently flexible and adheres well to the cable sheath, both under continuous high and changing bending stress. A GMG system (closed mixing and pouring) is used when pouring the resin into the mold shells. This practically eliminates contact with the cast resin during processing. The transparent mixing bag guarantees visual control of the mixing process. The Scotch® 23 self-welding rubber tape ensures optimal sealing of the set. After use, the mixed packaging bag with the remaining hardened casting resin can be disposed of as normal household waste. Disposal as hazardous waste is not necessary.
