The 3M Scotchfil self-amalgamating butyl rubber tape is a self-amalgamating adhesive tape. It is therefore particularly suitable for sealing and padding when repairing cable sheaths. It is permanently elastic and remains stretchable and malleable even at sub-zero temperatures. It is also age-resistant and non-corrosive.
