With the Modicon modular safety controller XPSMCM, safety applications can be easily configured and the system can be flexibly expanded with modules according to the application. This expansion module provides 2 safe relay group outputs. A relay group consists of 2 relays normally open and 1 relay normally closed. The module serves as a relay extension and is controlled in a safety-related manner by 2 OSSD outputs each. Two feedback circuits (EDM) are available. This module does not come with a backplane bus connector as it is not required. The module has removable spring-loaded terminals. This expansion module can be used with all CPU versions.
