The Modicon M172 PLC controller in performance version is designed for any size of application in the field of HVAC machines and pump automation. With integrated and optional communication interfaces and Ethernet services, there are extensive networking options. With the integrated display and buttons, control parameters can be set directly on the device. The controller has a total of 42 integrated I/Os, of which 12 are digital (potential-free / HSC 2 kHz) and 12 configurable (U/I/T/R) analog inputs, 12 digital & 8 configurable (U/I/PWM) analog outputs. Two RS485 interfaces for Modbus SL Master/Slave (only 1 master) or 1 BACnet MS/TP (B-AAC profile) are integrated, as well as an Ethernet interface for Modbus TCP Master/Slave & BACnet IP (B-AAC profile), Ethernet (WebVisu, FTP, etc.). Program download possible via USB-A or Modbus SL. Available Ethernet services are remote access, HTTP web server (Webvisu), FTP client/server, SNPT. Slot for micro SD card on the front of the device for use for data recording and web server storage. Program transfer via memory stick via USB-A interface. Possibility of programming with PC via USB Mini-B interface. The power supply is via 24 VAC / 24 VDC. The digital outputs are designed as relays (3A). Two outputs are designed as semiconductor relays (SSR, 0.5A). The connections are made using removable screw terminal blocks (not included in delivery).
