The Modicon M172 PLC controller in the optimized version is designed for every size of application in the field of HVAC machines and pump automation. With integrated and optional interfaces, the controller can be flexibly networked. The controller has a total of 42 integrated I/Os, of which 12 are digital (potential-free / HSC 2 kHz) and 12 configurable (U/I/T/R) analog inputs, 12 digital &, 8 configurable (U/I/PWM) analog outputs. Two RS485 interfaces for Modbus SL (master/slave) (only 1 master) or one for BACnet MS/TP (B-AAC profile, BACnet BTL-certified) are integrated. Program download possible via USB-A or Modbus SL. Ethernet services can only be used with an optional communications module. Slot for a micro SD card on the front of the device for use for data recording and web server storage. Possibility of programming with a PC via a USB Mini-B interface. The power supply is via 24 VAC / 24 VDC. The digital outputs are designed as relays (3A). The connections are made using removable screw terminal blocks (not included in delivery). Installation on 35 mm top hat rail or mounting plate with fastening accessories.
