A digital module is an advanced feature that can be uploaded to the Micrologic X trip unit at any stage of the product life cycle. The digital modules allow you to customize the MasterPact MTZ circuit breaker to your specific requirements. The digital modules are available 24/7 from the Schneider Electric GoDigital Store (godigital.schneider-electric.com). Uploading the digital modules is done without power interruption using the EcoStruxure Power Commission software and a USB cable. This digital module assists the maintenance operator in reclosing and opening the circuit breaker by providing instructions such as reset (if applicable) or loading spring (if applicable). It displays the status of the circuit breaker such as ready to close, coil status or spring status. This is a true on-site guide. The advantage is that the circuit breaker can be turned on and off from a distance of a few meters and the reclosing time is reduced. The full benefit of the function is achieved when it is installed together with the diagnostic and communicating voltage release (MX, MN, XF).
