In many cases, axis control requires the use of a planetary gearbox to adjust speeds and torques while maintaining the precision required by the application. To meet these requirements, Schneider Electric has chosen to use GBX right-angle planetary gearboxes for its Lexium servo motors. The combination of Lexium servo motors with the most suitable planetary gearboxes guarantees easy installation and easy and risk-free commissioning. The planetary gearboxes are designed for applications with no mechanical play. They have a keyed shaft, lifetime lubrication and comply with IP 54 protection. GBX planetary gearboxes are available in four sizes (GBX 60-GBX 160) and with fifteen gear ratios (3:1-100:1). GBY right-angle planetary gearboxes are available in three sizes.
