This AS-i module is part of the Modicon X80 range, a common input/output offering for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This master module supports up to 62 digital I/O devices and up to 31 analog I/O devices. Modicon X80 modules provide a unified environment for the use of I/O modules in automation architectures by reducing the costs of spare parts inventory, maintenance and training. It is equipped with a 3-way SUB-D connector for electrical connection. It is an IP20 rated product. The maximum cable distance between the devices is 100m, 200m line extension, 300m 2 repeater, 500m 2 repeater and the master in the middle. The housing provides IP20 protection for the electronics. It complies with EN 61131-2, EN 61000-6-4, EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61010-2-201. This product is compatible with Modicon M340 and M580. The product must be installed in the rack and secured with 2 screws.
