This counter module is part of the Modicon X80 range, a common input/output offering for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This harsh environment counter module is equipped with 2 high-speed channels. This robust product can be used in harsher environments and in an extended temperature range of -25°C to +70°C/-13°F to 158°F. Modicon X80 modules provide a unified environment for the use of I/O modules in automation architectures by reducing the cost of spare parts inventory, maintenance and training. The enclosure provides IP20 protection for the electronics. This product complies with CE, UL, CSA, RCM and EAC standards and is certified for power generation, merchant marine, railway and hazardous area applications. This input is compatible with 19.2V to 30V 2-wire/3-wire proximity sensors, incremental encoders with push-pull outputs, 10V to 30V. The product must be installed in the module carrier and secured with 2 screws.
