This counter module is part of the Modicon X80 range, a common input/output offering for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This counter module for harsh environments is equipped with 2 high-speed channels. The Modicon X80 automation platform meets the requirements of TC treatment (all climatic zones treatment) and can operate in a temperature range of 0°C to +60°C/32°F to 140°F. Modicon X80 modules provide a unified environment for the deployment of I/O modules in automation architectures by reducing the costs of spare parts inventory, maintenance and training. It is a counter module with an I/O voltage of 24 V DC and a current consumption of 100 mA at 3.3 V DC bus, 40 mA at 24 V DC rack, 80 mA at 24 V DC sensor. The housing provides IP20 protection for the electronics. This product meets CE, UL, CSA, RCM and EAC standards and is certified for power generation, merchant marine, railway and hazardous area applications. This input is compatible with 19.2V to 30V 2-wire/3-wire proximity sensors, incremental encoders with push-pull outputs, 10V to 30V. The product must be installed in the module carrier and secured with 2 screws.
