This digital input module is part of the Modicon X80 range, a range of common input/output and communication modules, power supplies and module carriers for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This product consists of 16 discrete input channels and is powered by 24V AC/DC (positive or negative logic). This rugged product can be used in harsher environments and in an extended temperature range of -25°C to +70°C/-13°F to 158°F. Modicon X80 modules provide a unified environment for the use of I/O modules in automation architectures by reducing spare parts inventory, maintenance and training costs. This product is IP20 rated and offers an MTBF of 1,124,252 hours. This module meets the requirements of applications in transportation, water and wastewater, consumer packaged goods, mining, minerals, metals, power generation, energy and chemical, and data centers. This product is certified by CE, UL, CSA, RCM, EAC, UKCA and Merchant Navy and complies with EN 61000-6-5 and EN 61850-3. This module is compatible with Modicon M340, M580 (Local or Remote I/O) PLCs with a 20-pin cage, screw terminal or removable spring terminal block. The product must be installed in the module carrier and secured with 2 screws.
