This Remote I/O drop is part of the Modicon X80 range, a common input/output offering for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This Ethernet Remote Input Output (RIO) drop adapter has 3 ports with daisy chain loop topology. Integrated connections are EtherNet/IP for the device network and EtherNet/IP for the service port. Modicon X80 modules provide a unified environment for deploying I/O modules in automation architectures by reducing spare parts inventory, maintenance and training costs. The input data is collected and passed to the remote I/O head adapter and the output modules are updated with the data received from the remote I/O head adapter. It is an IP20 certified product. Thanks to a protective coating on the circuit board, this product can be used in harsh environments. This product is certified by CE, Merchant Navy, GOST and C-Tick. It complies with EN 61131-2, EN 61000-6-4, EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61010-2-201 standards. This adapter is compatible with the BMXERT multifunction input module, the BMXNOM Ethernet module, the BMXEHC counter module, 0 to 1024 discrete channels and 0 to 256 analog channels. The product must be installed in a module carrier and secured with 2 screws.
