This Remote I/O drop is part of the Modicon X80 range, a common input/output offering for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This Ethernet Remote Input Output (RIO) drop adapter has 2 ports. Integrated connection is EtherNet/IP for the device network. Modicon X80 modules provide a unified environment for deploying I/O modules in automation architectures by reducing the cost of spare parts inventory, maintenance and training. The input data is collected and passed to the Remote I/O head adapter and the output modules are updated with the data received from the Remote I/O head adapter. It is an IP20 certified product.
