The Modicon ABL8 Universal series of switched-mode power supplies are ideal for most industrial applications and are designed in particular for direct current supply in automation applications. The ABL8 product family impresses with its compact and robust design and includes power supplies with an output voltage of 24V DC. This functional module for the Modicon ABL8 power supplies makes it possible to provide up to 4 supply outlets with an electronic fuse. The current can be set for each outlet in 7 steps between 1 A and 10 A. In the event of a short circuit, the behavior can be set to either a manual or automatic reset. A two-pole switch is also available for each outlet for interruption. This means that a circuit can be switched off galvanically isolated before work is carried out. LED displays provide information on the status of each outlet and a diagnostic relay indicates a shutdown.
