The VigiPacT RH197P is a residual current device for front panel mounting. It protects against direct or indirect contact with people, fire hazards and motors. It measures the earth fault current in an electrical installation via its associated toroidal transformer. It trips the associated circuit breaker when the set residual current is exceeded. The supply voltage is 380/415V AC 50/60Hz. It is a residual current protection class of type A. The current sensitivity is selectable with 19 thresholds from 30 mA to 30 A. The time delay is selectable with 7 settings from instantaneous to 4.5s. The alarm is set to 50% of IDn by dip switch. A switch allows the selection between manual reset on site or automatic reset after fault clearance. The monitored voltage of the distribution system is up to 1000V AC 50/60/400Hz. It is installed on a front panel and has an IP40 protection rating. It must be connected to a compatible Schneider Electric type A toroidal or rectangular sensor.
