VigiPacT RH99M is a residual current monitoring relay for DIN rail mounting. It monitors the drop in electrical insulation due to aging of cables or extensions in the installation. It measures the leakage current in an electrical installation through its associated toroidal transformer. When the residual current operating threshold is exceeded, a control signal is issued by the relay. The operating supply voltage is 220/240VAC 50/60Hz. The current sensitivity is selectable with 9 thresholds from 30 mA to 30 A. The time delay is selectable with 9 settings from instantaneous to 4.5s. There is an automatic reset after a fault has been cleared. The monitored voltage of the distribution network is up to 1000 VAC 50/60/400 Hz. It is installed on a DIN rail in a control cabinet and has an IP40 protection rating. It must be connected to a compatible Schneider Electric Type A toroidal or rectangular sensor.
