The RED cable junction boxes made of 2-component plastic are ideal for outdoor installation due to their impact resistance and break resistance. They are made of weather- and UV-resistant plastic and are independent of the RAL color. They are also highly resistant to vegetable and animal fats, mineral oil, diesel, weak acids, alkalis and alcohol.
Self-sealing, permanently elastic puncture membranes allow faster cable insertion and thus save 30% of working time. The integrated thread also allows the use of cable glands without a lock nut. The curved lid offers 10% more space in the housing. Captive quick-release screws made of plastic close the box with just a quarter turn. (Does not apply to the 108 series) The box is attached using a quick-mounting bracket or internal openings outside the sealing area.
