The text and alarm module for the PSS-224C microphone center is a versatile component for storing and playing predefined voice and alarm messages in professional PA and voice alarm systems. It is installed directly into the rear panel of the PSS-224C and adds playback functionality for up to 32 individual mp3 audio files, stored on a standard micro SD card.

An emergency alert message is preloaded on the card. The module also includes a DIN 33404 Part 3-compliant alarm siren, providing standardized tones for emergency signaling. Additionally, seven different gong tones are pre-configured and can be used for announcements, door signals, or alerts depending on the application.

System monitoring in accordance with VDE 0828 / EN 60849 is performed via the PMO-350C monitoring module, ensuring full compliance with voice alarm system standards.
