The FMX-1602 is a versatile, professional audio mixer with 16 input channels, comprehensive EQ control, and a built-in digital effects processor—ideal for PA systems, studios, events, or permanent installations. It can be used as a desktop mixer or mounted in a 48,3 cm ( 19 inch ) rack using the optional RMK-16 rack kit (8 RU).

The input section features 10 mono channels (CH 1–8 with MIC/LINE, CH 9/10 & 11/12 as stereo) and three additional stereo channels (CH 13/14 & 15/16). Mono channels include gain, trim, 4-band EQ and low-cut filter; stereo channels feature 3-band EQs and pad switches (CH 9/10 & 11/12). Pan and balance controls allow detailed sound placement.

Monitoring is available via PFL and a headphone output. CH 1 & 2 have insert points, and +48V phantom power is globally switchable. The mixer offers two AUX sends (pre/post), as well as assignable routing to Main L/R and Sub 1/2.

The master section includes stereo main outputs with LED metering, two individually adjustable Sub 1/2 outputs, 2-track Cinch I/O, AUX sends/returns, and a Mono Out with level control. A major highlight is the built-in 16-effect DSP module, assignable to main or monitor mix.
