The CPA-5480 C is the most powerful model in the CPA-5000 compact amplifier series, offering 480 W RMS output power—making it ideal for medium to large-scale public address applications where speech clarity, reliability, and modular expansion are essential.

It features five individually switchable and controllable speaker zones, accessible directly from the front panel. Outputs support both 100 V and 70 V distribution systems as well as 8-ohm low-impedance loads. The unit can operate via mains power (230 V AC) or a 24 V DC backup, making it suitable for emergency paging systems.

Input versatility includes seven audio inputs: 4 mic/line inputs with advanced priority logic (Input 1 with VOX priority, Inputs 2–4 with contact-triggered priority over AUX 5–7). All microphone inputs are balanced and equipped with switchable phantom power. Line-level AUX inputs allow for background music or media players. AMP-IN and PRE-OUT connectors on the rear enable integration with external amplifiers or equalizers.
