RAK Wireless WisBlock GNSS Location Module
Overview
The RAK1910 is a WisBlock sensor that adds GPS location capabilities to the WisBlock system. A ready-to-use SW library and tutorial make it easy to create a GPS based location tracker. The RAK1910 supports both GPS and GLONASS satellites for location determination. It can determine the location within 1 second and has a high accuracy of 2.5 m in outdoor use. The RAK1910 combined with the RAK4631 WisBlock Core is a ready-to-use system for a GPS-based location tracker that can send location information via LoRaWan® communication, LoRa® point-to-point connections and BLUETOOTH® Low Energy.
The RAK1910 is ideal for battery-powered applications due to its low power consumption. In addition, the WisBlock system allows the module to be switched off completely to further reduce the system's power consumption.
