RAK Wireless WisBlock NB-IoT Interface Module
Overview
The RAK5860 is a WisBlock Wireless that expands the WisBlock system with an LTE wireless connection. In addition to standard LTE communication, it also supports the new CAT M1 and CAT NB2 standards.
RAK5860 also has a GNSS positioning option that can use both GPS and Glonass satellites.
RAK5860 is the solution when your LoRa® application needs access to IoT but is out of range of WiFi networks or LoRaWan® gateways.
The RAK5860 adds wireless communication options to your solution. For example, it can be used as a gateway between your LoRa nodes over LTE.
RAK5860 can be conveniently programmed using the Quectel AT command interface.
RAK5860 is ideal for battery-powered applications as the WisBlock system allows the module to be turned off completely to reduce system power consumption.
