RAK Wireless WisBlock Ultrasonic Sensor Module RAK12007
Overview
RAK12007 is an ultrasonic sensor module based on the CS100, an industrial-grade chip for ultrasonic distance measurement. An ultrasound transmitter, an ultrasound receiver and digital processing circuits are integrated into this chip. The result of the distance measurement is output in the form of pulse widths.
An ultrasonic detector consists of two main parts: transmitter and detector. The transmitter emits an ultrasonic wave, and the detector receives back the transmitter's signal reflected from an object. By calculating the transit time and the speed of sound, the distance of the object can be determined.
