RAK Wireless WisBlock Ambient Light Sensor
Overview
The RAK1903 is a WisBlock sensor that expands the WisBlock system with an ambient light sensor. A ready-to-use SW library and tutorial make it easy to build an ambient light data collection system.
With a measuring range of 0.01 lux to 83865 lux, the RAK1903 is suitable for a greenhouse control system, a light detection system or an alarm system.
The RAK1903 combined with the RAK4631 WisBlock Core is a ready-to-use ambient light data collection system. The collected data can be sent via LoRaWan® communication, LoRa® point-to-point connections and BLE.
The RAK1903 is ideal for battery-powered applications because of its low power consumption. In addition, the WisBlock system allows the module to be switched off completely to further reduce the system's power consumption.
The RAK1903 ambient light sensor can be combined with other WisBlock sensors such as a temperature and humidity sensor and a barometric pressure sensor module to create a greenhouse control system.
