Educating students to have a respectful attitude towards the natural environment must have a permanent place on the teacher's to-do list. Skills to be learned Developing environmental awareness and sensitization
The activities in this set provide an introduction to why and how cares about the environment and encourage children to become responsible adults who truly care about the environment. Demonstrate positive patterns and behaviors.
Students learn what protecting nature looks like in practice. You begin to understand that simple actions can have a big impact. Applying what they've learned in the real world
Soon, students will be able to apply their newly acquired knowledge into their daily lives and make our planet a little better every day. The ability to express one's own opinion
Most classes begin with an open discussion. In this way, students learn to express their thoughts and opinions - a skill that will prove particularly important in adulthood. How do you work with the complete package? With the lesson plans included in the kit, teachers can inspire students' passion for ecology and introduce the concepts of waste separation, energy saving, recycling, eco-transport and green cities. The materials enable group and individual lessons to be carried out. The kit also allows special education teachers to conduct cognitive and social-communicative lessons. Each activity is accompanied by detailed guidelines for implementation and indications of which elements the teacher should pay particular attention to. Example lesson: Public transport At the beginning of the lesson, the teacher asks the students which means of transport they used to get to school that day and which one they think is the most environmentally friendly. The teacher then asks what modes of transportation they know and writes each answer on a separate piece of paper. If a tram and a trolleybus were not mentioned, the teacher should introduce them. If necessary, the teacher should explain how these vehicles work and what their main features are. The students then rank the previously mentioned means of transport on a scale from least to most environmentally friendly. The teacher guides the discussion so that the students have to provide well-founded arguments for the choice of place on the scale. The teacher distributes cut-out sheets to the students and asks them which means of transport would transport passengers in the most environmentally friendly way. The answer should be an electric public transport: a tram, a trolleybus or an electric bus. Students then construct a platform that they attach to the robot with a magnet. Finally, the platform needs to be tested. Their main purpose is to accommodate all passengers while ensuring a safe journey. The teacher selects the programming interface according to the skills of the groups and programs the robot to travel along the route between benches and other obstacles and to stop at the stops specified by the students. The teacher can encourage students to program a specific behavior, e.g. B. a sound or a color that should be activated at every stop.
