Further information for Philips mounting rail 1 length TL5 49W 58361499 - 4MX656 491 7x1.5 WH
The support rail has two purposes: it serves as both a stable mounting rail for the light carriers and as a housing for the power supply cables of the individual units. All rail sections are made of white or silver painted hot-dip galvanized steel. They are available in special TL5 lengths of 1, 2 and 3 light carriers for 49 W (35 W, 80 W) and 54 W (28 W). The Maxos LED light carrier 4MX850 491 is also used with these support rails. One (5- or 7-core) or two (2 x 5-core or 2 x 7-core) ribbon cables are integrated into the rail, so that safe and correct cabling is possible at any time in conjunction with an integrated phase selector switch and connection blocks. The 7-core cable is used to connect a light control or emergency lighting to the light carriers equipped with an emergency light battery pack. Double cables (2 x 5 or 2 x 7 core) are required when the light carriers are to be connected to a completely separate power supply. They are mainly used for emergency lighting via central emergency batteries or separate switching processes. In these cases, no additional connection blocks or cables are required. In suspended light strips, the support rail sections are connected to each other via the integrated electrical connection and a robust external mechanical coupling piece (accessory). Ceiling-mounted light strips use the same integrated electrical connection and an internal coupling (accessory). The cables can be routed through special knockout openings in the upper area of the track section as required. The support rail is supplied with a complete range of interchangeable components, making it very flexible to install. The excellent stability of the sections and couplings allows mounting distances of 3.4 to 5 meters. The basic accessories for Maxos TL-D / LED support rails can also be used for TL5 / LED support rails.
