Product Description:

The ZCode-PR is a tamper-proof, contactless safety switch that uses both magnetic and RFID technology. This dual-channel and diverse principle ensures maximum safety in machine and plant engineering. The ZCode-PR can be configured as a Unicode version (activated only by a specifically assigned actuator) or as a Mastercode version (any actuator from the PR or LR series activates the switch).

One of the key features of the ZCode-PR is the ability to connect up to 20 modules in series to ZANDER safety relays or safety controllers without reducing the safety level. This significantly reduces installation effort. The switching status of the safety switch is indicated via a clearly visible LED indicator, allowing for easy monitoring of the system's current status.

The ZCode-PR features a robust red PES (polyester) housing and complies with the protection classes IP67 and IP69K, making it dustproof and waterproof, even during high-pressure cleaning. Thanks to its compact design (50 x 25 x 13 mm) and light weight (200 g), the ZCode-PR can be easily installed in tight spaces. Typical applications include misaligned protective doors, sliding safety grids, and protective covers.

The ZCode-PR has 2 contactless safety outputs and 1 signaling output. Power is supplied via 24 V DC (+/- 15%) with a maximum power consumption of 50 mA. With a maximum switching capacity of 200 mA at 24 V DC and its robust design, the ZCode-PR is ideal for use in safety-critical machinery and plant environments.
