This kit contains the tools needed for tone locating and locating cables in traditional cabling systems. This premium tone generator features Angled Bed of Nails (ABN) clips that securely grip the cable. Tone generator emits five different tones. An RJ11 plug for easy connection to the phone or RJ45 data jacks for tone locating are provided. The toner checks for continuity and polarity, which are indicated by clearly marked LEDs. The probe locates using the tone signal. The adjustable volume amplifies the sound. The 3.5 mm jack can be used to connect headphones (sold separately) in noisy environments. The probe has a non-metallic, durable tip that can be replaced without tools. The probe allows testing in distribution blocks without interrupting other services.
