The compact Telent splice protection press is easy to use and has been tried and tested thousands of times. It enables the controlled pressing of crimp splice protection sleeves up to 30 mm long with a simple thumb press in a matter of seconds. The resulting pressure is evenly transferred to the sleeve to prevent damage to the fiber optic cable and at the same time ensure maximum protection of the splice point from mechanical influences and weather. Using adapter plates, the press can be mounted on various splicing devices such as the NetPeppers CFS-100 fusion splicer.
