Further information for Netpeppers NEPE fiber optic precision stripper OFS31 - NP-FIBER31
Fiber optic precision stripper for stripping fiber optic primary coating from 250 to 125 µm
The NetPeppers fiber optic stripper with its newly developed operating principle is the perfect tool for stripping multimode and singlemode fiber optics in any application scenario. The ergonomic shape, the low weight of only 45 g and the housing made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide make it extremely easy to use. The stripping tool is suitable for both right- and left-handed users.
The NetPeppers fiber optic stripping pliers are precisely manufactured tools for stripping fiber optic primary coatings up to 250 µm onto the bare fiber optic with 125 µm. The alternative operating principle to conventional stripping tools, in which the blades rest when the pliers handles are relaxed, enables the primary coating to be stripped gently with a predefined force. This effectively prevents fiber damage and breakage. By inserting the fiber straight through the funnel-shaped opening on the front and the adjustable stop from 5 - 45 mm, kinking of the fiber is avoided and millimeter-precise, repeatable stripping is possible. This prevents unnecessarily long fiber remnants or fibers that are too short, which can be a hindrance during further processing. The blades manufactured in Solingen are pre-set at the factory so that subsequent adjustment is not necessary and the handy handles ensure fatigue-free work without slipping. These properties make the NetPeppers fiber optic stripper 'Made in Germany' a must-have for every fiber optic installer, regardless of whether it is in the in-house, FTTX or long-distance network.
