The VIAVI FFL-105 is a rugged visual fault locator that quickly and easily locates problem areas in fiber optic cables. By accurately locating fiber optic damage, technicians can efficiently diagnose, investigate and fix the problem. The VFL is also used for performing continuity testing and fiber optic identification.|The FFL-105 is designed for convenient handling and portability. It is equipped with a 2.5 mm interface and is compatible with connectors such as SC, ST and FC, while the included 1.25 mm adapter allows connection to LC and MU connectors. The VFL emits a bright red laser beam (Class 3R), so the light emerging from the damaged fiber is clearly visible from a distance. The Continuous/Flash control button allows the operator to choose between continuous or flashing illumination.
