The VIAVI Visual Fault Locator (VFL) is an indispensable tool for quickly and easily locating faults in fiber optic cables. By displaying the exact location of the damage, technicians can efficiently identify and fix the problem. The FFL-050 is designed for easy, portable handling. It is equipped with a 2.5 mm interface and is compatible with connectors such as SC, ST and FC, while the included 1.25 mm adapter enables connection to LC and MU connectors. The VFL emits a bright red laser beam (Class II), so that the light emerging from the damaged fiber is clearly visible from a distance. The control button allows the operator to choose between continuous or flashing illumination.
